The knee high-boot is fall’s comeback kid. Once a star player in every woman’s wardrobe, the knee-high boot was swiftly demoted to the back of the closet when the ankle bootie came around. We’d pull them out on occasion, but let’s face it: while it may be a classic shoe, our attention has been focused on shorter styles.
But this fall that may all change.
On the Fall 2012 runways, there was a resurgence of knee-high boots. The sight of these tall boots paired with fall’s pencil skirts was enough to sway me back onto the knee-high kick. I may have started out playing with the idea of re-introducing this style back into my closet in my head, but when I saw these jaw-dropping lace-up Gucci boots for sale here, I was sold. Love, love, love these boots! Part Victorian, part equestrian and all sexy, these boots are what I’m coveting right now. I may never own this exact pair, but they’ve certainly got me jonesing for some tall boots for fall.
